A press cutting describing from an unknown writer about the visit from Mr. Horniman to India and the objects he has collected for the Indian section of the Museum. The excerpt describes Mr. Horniman arriving in Bombay and purchasing specimens in Bombay, Jeypore, Agra, Delhi, Lucknow, Cawnpore, Benares, Calcutta, Madras, and Colombo. Mr. Quick informs the unknown writer that the grand addition will include metalwork, wood and ivory carving, inlaid marble and lacquer work, with examples of the Art Industries which the country is famous for. The excerpt concludes with the items arriving in England before Mr. Horniman does, so it can be arranged and placed before the public earlier in the year.
