Two identical souvenir booklets distributed by the Surrey House Museum (the predecessor to the Horniman Museum and former home of the Horniman family). The booklets contain illustrations of domestic and wild animals with their names written in Japanese. The covers are decorated with Japanese iconography and bound with thread.
