One of two December 1973 issues of Recorder and Music owned by Miles Tomalin. The issue contains an article by Miles Tomalin titled 'Early Days' describing his early working relationship with Arnold Dolmetsch and teaching school children to play recorder. The article also features a black and white photograph of Tomalin and his wife talking with J.M. Thomson. A black and white photograph showing Tomalin in Elizabethan costume with three other performers was found enclosed between the cover and page 269.
