Anglo-German system. Serial number missing. Oval paper label: 'Improved hand-made broad steel reed concertina.' 5.38" x 6.38" rectangular rosewood ends, fully fretted, also fretted to sides of action. Bevelled edge, muslin backing, two bolts per end. 27 keys: 13 each side + 1 air lever, all present, glued direct onto wooden levers. Later leather straps, no buckles. Six-fold green leather bellows, finely gold tooled (no papers). Broad steel reeds, riveted on fine brass reed plates, stamped: 'Hand Made Vibrators Warranted' in many places. Two reeds each side on brass plates. Oval label on pan: 'Tuned and repaired by R Leach & Son, 74 Undercliffe St, Bradford.'
