Anglo-German system. No serial number. R Carr, based on Jeffries parts, circa 1890. Each end is stamped: 'R Carr,' on a small cartouche within the fretwork pattern. 7.25" diameter nickel ends and side, both fully fretted in an intricate foliate pattern. 63 slim ivory buttons, 26 + 2 left-hand, 33 + 2 right-hand, in a four row layout. Brown leather hand straps on raised nickel hand bars, of Jeffries style. Sturdy seven-fold black leather bellows. Round-end steel reeds, fitted all over the complex multi-chambered reed pans, which are crude copies of Jeffries style pans.
