MacCann duet system. Serial number 1623. Lachenal & Co. oval label. Engraved onto chrome plated end: 'Lachenal & Co. Patent Concertina Manufacturers, London.' 7.88" AF [across front?] x 8.56" - a stretched hexagon shape. Raised chrome plated metal ends, fully fretted, inset to bevelled wooden edge. 66 keys: 28 left-hand, 37 right-hand + 1 air. Silver capped metal, later fully padded straps, secured onto hollowed wood hand bars by nickel screws and bone pallets. Eight-fold black leather bellows. Round-end steel reeds with radial reed pan.
