There will be no through route in the Gardens on Saturday 19 April, and the Gardens are open on Saturday to Spring Fair ticket holders only. Museum visitors need to enter and exit via London Road.

Internal ink writing on action: 'Made by C Jeffries in 1874,' and on pan: 'Made by C Jeffries father 1874.' 6.25" diameter thick rosewood ends, simple fretwork, wood hand bars. 27 keys: 13 each side + 1 air, in 'two and a half row' arrangement. Worn bone buttons, loose. Later straps, two brass screws. Five-fold green leather bellows, unusual white and curlique papers. Round-end steel reeds, rectilinear reed pan.
