Spike tube fiddle. Bowed stringed instrument (neck and body only) with bow. The body round and waisted, of light coloured wood, with a snake skin membrane head and a simply designed opening in the base. The neck of darker wood. End of neck re-curved with a light wood terminal. The bow a simple stem, curved at the ends in opposite directions, carrying a few wisps of hair. Two strings. Incomplete: lacks strings, pegs (two), bridge.
