Baritone concertina. English system. Serial number 3248. Oval scalloped paper label: 'Patent concertina by George Case, Boosey & Ching, Holles St, London.' Smaller typed label on left-hand: '3248'. 7.88" diameter rosewood ends, flat, simple bevelled, muslin backing. 48 keys: 24 each side, silver capped metal, bushed. Black leather straps with nickel screws. Five-fold green leather bellows with large green/gold papers, deep frames to accommodate baffled pan. Round-end brass reeds with mountings for baffle remain on inner side of pans, baffle removed.
