Anglo-German system. Serial number absent, pencil number inside, 97 or 78. Oval paper label: 'Manufactured by Croft and Co. 144 Westminster Bd. Road, London.' 6.12" diameter flat well figured rosewood ends, simple frets with later green fabric backing. 23 keys: 11 each side + 1 air. Flat bone, numbered 1-10 with '0' on accidentals each side, ends of buttons penetrate action board, air valve is a brass rod beneath button. Later straps on stepped hand bars. Five-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers. Round-end nickel reeds, all reeds on lower half of reed pan, air valve is hinged sprung trapdoor on pan.
