Oval paper label: 'Lachenal & Co., Patent Concertina Manufacturers, London.' 7.44" AF [across front?] x 9" stretched hexagon shape, veneered ebony ends, pale brass floral inlays with simple thick frets, bevelled. 48 keys: 24 each side, silver tipped metal, much worn with some caps absent, bushed. Later hide straps with nickel screws. Six-fold black leather bellows. Mixed radial and linear layout.
