Thick rosewood ends, simple frets, bevelled in stretched hexagon format. 43 keys: 22 left-hand, 21 right-hand. Ivory with black accidentals. Black leather straps with nickel screws. Five-fold black leather bellows. Long square brass beds, screwed to under-action, double riveted tongues, reeds labelled in French tonic sol-fa, single action valves on under-action. Later hexagonal mahogany case of stretched hexagon form.
