Melodeon, German. No serial number. Faintly embossed label on bellows frame: 'Golden Domes, hand-made steel-bronze reeds, made in Germany.' 11" x 5.88" diameter plain black wood ends, metal mounts. Both ends secured to bellows by four clasps. Right-hand: 11 'white' keys and 10 'black', piano style. Left-hand: 8 pearl tipped brass buttons, 1 air button. Left-hand and right-hand leather thumb and hand straps. Fourteen-fold black leather cloth bellows, edged, gaudy papers.
