Oval impressed stamp on front action cover: 'Busson, Brevete, Paris.' 18.38" x 6.25" diameter plain black wood ends, straight sides, light wood wind chest section fretworked front and rear, with two sprung brass securing buttons. Left-hand end has black wood hand bar with four brass feet, and two areas of perforated air valves. 37 small piano keys: 22 ivory 'white notes' (7 absent), 15 ebony 'black notes', plus bone button controlling dampers stopping off a musette set of reeds. Four-fold black leather bellows with black papers. Brass tongued reed on double or treble brass reed beds.
