Accordeon by Busson, Paris. No serial number. Oval stamp on right-hand end: 'Busson Brevete Paris.' Inner pan stamp: 'M Howson Maker, 10 Drury Hill, Nottingham.' Also stamped twice under action in ink. Rosewood veneered ends with simple coloured marquetry. Right-hand has 16 square pearl keys, 8 on each row, and two brass palm levers, one with brass protecting cage. 18 pearl pallets. Left-hand has decorative brass spoon air lever, with two articulated bass keys. Six-fold leather-edged bellows with decorative papers. Rectangular brass reed plates, with steel reeds secured by double riveted cross pieces.
