Accordeon. No serial number. Re-reeded by Horne. Gold/black end transfers: 'Edgar Horne, late J Gregory, Maker, Nottingham' and 'Steel Reeds.' Inside pan stamp: 'Edgar Horne, Accordeon Maker, Nottingham.' Gold/black label: 'Steel Reeds.' Hand in red [? Handwriting, or left-hand]: 'C Steel.' 12.5" x 4.75" diameter. Rosewood veneer ends with fully green/orange/red marquetry. White bellows panel. Purfled ends. Left-hand has decorative brass spoon air valve, two articulated bass keys and four brass feet on hand frame. Right-hand has 19 square pearl keys (10 outer row, 9 inner) with 19 round pearl pallets. Six-fold leather-edged bellows with gold and purple papers. Single rivet steel reeds in brass frames, pan labelled with Horne stamp.
