Dismantled English system concertina. Serial number 4320. Dealer's oval paper label: 'John Alvey Turner, Manufacturer, 19 Poultry.' 6.19" diameter flat light sycamore wood ends, simple frets, glazed cardboard backing. 48 keys: 24 each side, flat brass, stamped. Both straps and right-hand screw missing. Left-hand screw nickel. Four-fold black leather bellows with gold star papers. Round-end nickel reeds, single large rivet, white leather lined pan, and circular pan label: 'Wheatstone & Co. Pantentees, 20 Conduit St., Regent St., London.'
