Accordeon. No serial number. Gold on black transfer on action boards: 'J Gregory, Maker, Nottingham.' Oval ink stamp under action and on reed pan leather: 'J Gregory, Maker, 27 Lister Gate, Nottingham.' 12.88" x 4.88" diameter rosewood veneer ends, with coloured marquetry and purfling. Right-hand has 19 square pearl keys: 10 on outer row, 9 on inner row, and two brass pearl leavers, one with a cage. 21 pearl pallets. Left-hand has a large decorative spoon bass with brass guide loop, two linked bass levers on hand frame. Six-fold bellows with gaudy papers. Brass reeds, beds and tongues.
