There will be no through route in the Gardens on Saturday 19 April, and the Gardens are open on Saturday to Spring Fair ticket holders only. Museum visitors need to enter and exit via London Road.
Double-reeded concertina. Anglo-German system. No serial number. No label. 6.5" diameter flat, light varnished wood ends, simple frets. 23 keys: 10 + 1 register each side + 1 air. Bone-tipped wood, blued to levers. Left-hand leather straps, right-hand straps later, with original brass buckles. Eight-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers, with gilt embossed band around frames. Left-hand frame deeper than right-hand. Reeds riveted to single reed plates.
