Sheng, mouth organ. Seventeen bamboo pipes set in a black lacquered gourd wind chamber with a bone mounted mouthpiece. The two longest pipes are bone mounted, and all are retained by a brass bamboo-patterned strap. Twelve of the pipes have brass reeds weighted with wax.
