Gilt leather-clad finger rests. 48 keys: 24 each side, silver capped metal, bushed. Later leather straps with nickel screws. Five-fold green leather bellows with green/gold arabesque papers. Deep bellows frames. Round-end brass reeds with double sided reed pan, hexagonal central baffle screwed on inner side. Concertina making at Boosey can be traced to the production of George Case's concertinas at Boosey & Son in the 1850s.
