Serial number 1559. Oval paper label: 'Lachenal & Co. Patent Concertina Manufacturers, London.' 6.25" diameter rosewood ends, fancy fretwork, flat, bevelled, white muslin backing, number printed on left-hand backing. 46 keys: 21 left-hand, 25 right-hand. Flat bone buttons, stamped and bushed. Gilt stamped leather straps, embossed: 'Lachenal & Co. patent no. 4752, London.' On wood hand bars, right-hand stamped: 'Patent no. 4752.' Brass screws. Six-fold black leather bellows, with gold/black papers with monogram 'L.' Round-end steel reeds, radial reed pan.
