Taxidermy case of adult male and adult female Northern Pintail. According to Edward Hart, writing on 21 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult female, February 20th 1875; right (no 2): adult male: February 20th 1875. Shot by me in Christchurch Harbour. Sexes differ; summer and winter plumage, male the same, female differ. Mounted by me'.
