Taxidermy case of adult male Black-winged Stilt. According to Edward Hart, writing on 30 April 1927, '(No 1): adult male, July 10th 1873, summer plumage. Shot by me at Blackberry Point, Christchurch Harbour. Sexes differ. Summer and winter plumage, male differs. Summer and winter plumage, female differs slightly sometimes. Mounted by me'.
