Taxidermy case of adult male, adult female and one young. According to Edward Hart, writing on 10 May 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult male, summer plumage, 1876; right (no 2): adult female, summer plumage, 1874 (specimen missing); nest and one young (also missing), July 4th 1874. Obtained by me on the Sand Dunes, Mudeford, Christchurch. Sexes alike, summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by me'.
