Taxidermy case of adult male, adult female and four varieties of Yellowhammer (adult male missing). According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Bottom left (no 1): adult female, October 1883; middle left (no 2): pied variety, male, 1871; top left (no 3): cream variety, male,1868; top right (no 4): cream variety, female, 1874; middle right (no 5): adult male, September 1883; bottom right (no 6): pied variety, male, 1879; nest and five eggs. Obtained by me on Town Common, Christchurch. Sexes differ, summer and winter plumage differs. Mounted by me'.
