Taxidermy case of two adult males, one adult female, one male white variety, two albino males and one female pale blue variety of Sand Martin. According to Edward Hart, writing on 7 April 1927, 'Bottom left (no 1): male, white variety, Christchurch, September 1898; middle left (no 2): adult male, Christchurch, May 1883; top left (no 3): female, pale blue variety, Fair Mile Gravel Pit, Christchurch, September 1893; top middle (no 4): adult male, Christchurch, May 1883; middle right (no 5): adult female, Christchurch, May 1883; bottom middle (no 6): albino male, Brewhouse Hole, Christchurch, August 1883; far right (no 7): albino male, Brewhouse Hole, Christchurch, September 1884; nest and young, June 1883. All the above obtained by me at the places mentioned. Sexes alike; summer and winter plumage the same. Mounted by me'.
