Sword with double edge blade which is deeply stamped with maker’s inscription in the fullers. Steel hilt, the double shell-guard and pommel each crudely chiselled with bust portraits. The knuckle-bow and quillon also with chiselled decoration, the grip is bound with steel wire. The chiselling is unusually crude in nature , and may have been added at a later date.
