There will be no through route in the Gardens on Saturday 19 April, and the Gardens are open on Saturday to Spring Fair ticket holders only. Museum visitors need to enter and exit via London Road.
Short wooden spear, possibly a fish spear, with the shaft and head carved in one piece. There are panels of light and dark brown braided vegetable fibre on top of the shaft, and in the middle of the head. The five remaining bone barbs are lashed to top of head with vegetable fibre sealed with resin.
