Unusual example of a Maori poi dance ornament which is constructed from three egg shaped cotton wool balls wrapped in white woollen yarn. Each of the balls has a number of danglers made from brown wool to which are attached various green white and yellow feathers. The green feathers are likely to be those of the Kakapo parrot.
