Almanac, xian shu, dated the 19th year of Guangxu period, that is, 1893. Woodblock printed in red and black ink on paper, thread-stitched binding, qing hua tang edition. It is used to help select auspicious dates and times for important events such as weddings, funerals, opening a new business, home refurbishment, travelling, and even a good day for installing a shrine at home.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
