The basket is decorated with a black and red band at the base with a band of red stepped motifs at the mid-section. The oblong vegetable fibre lid has an attached handle. The lid is decorated with a red and a black band around the sides, a black oblong panel at the centre, surrounded by a red band towards the rim.
