textile (function unknown); textile

A roughly rectangular-shaped textile made up of five pieces of linen of different sizes and hand sewn together. Probably trouser panels. It has two separate embroidery patterns. The slightly longer piece has five vertical panels of embroidery. Each consists of paired blue and red flowers on a central stem. The shorter piece has four slightly wider embroidery panels. Here the red and blue flowers are much more geometric, the central stem is undulating and same-coloured flowers are placed diagonally opposite each other. The panels on both sides of the cloth are separated by white pulled thread work.
