Hinged wooden box, decorated in hman-zi shwei-cha technique. It is covered with raised lacquer work, gilt and inlaid with coloured glass and mirror pieces. Some of the glass pieces (possibly semi-precious stones) are missing. The top of the box has two raised figures of lions facing one another made of moulded lacquer. The front of the box has two similar creatures facing one another to either side of the keyhole. The key is missing. Label: one exhibition label, printed.
