Rectangular, cream-coloured, tabby-woven cotton sample decorated with embroidery in cream, green, pink silk and metal-wrapped thread. The textile appears to be part of a larger cloth as one of the longer sides has been cut. At this end a woven decoration (created by inserting a sligthly thicker supplementary weft) appears to create a triangular pattern with alternating orientation. The embroidered decoration consists of 3 sprays, each with 3 ends branching off. The ends frame 3 sets of circular patterns (floral motifs ?) in cream and pink surrounding a central one in metal-wrapped thread. Below these is a border of cream-coloured leaf pattern, arranged to create a zigzag. The end of the warp has been plied to create a fringe.
