Silver gilt brooch in the shape of a butterfly. The front is elaborately embellished with kingfisher feathers with scrolling antennae joined at top. The body is embellished with a coin design in the middle, four broad wings decorated with phoenix feather-like details and with two phoenix heads at the bottom of the wings. The clasp on the back is missing.
