Ovate wooden tray with four feet, all of which have been broken off. Three of these feet have been reattached by dowling at some point in the past, and have then been lost again permanently. The rim bears evidence of having formerly borne two lugs or flanges at the ends of the long axis, and the piece is heavily aged, weathered and stained.
