Club, from Papa New Guinea, discoid slate head, plain, secured on either side by woven cane bands on a hard red wood shaft tapering to a point, undecorated. Wooden peg protrudes from the head wedging it in place and providing the attachment for a very fragmentary plume of short feathers.
