Middle compartment of 3-tiered circular food box made of bamboo and wood. The interior and underside are covered in red lacquer, while the exterior is covered in orange lacquer, probably a mixture of red lacquer with gold powder. The exterior is painted in black paint with bird, butterfly, gourd and fan designs amidst dense floral motifs.
