Bottom compartment of 3-tiered circular food box made of bamboo and wood, with overhead handle and stands on a high foot. The interior, base and handle are covered in red lacquer, while the exterior is covered in orange lacquer, probably a mixture of red lacquer with gold powder. The exterior is painted with two panels of decoration in black paint. Each panel has a fan, a coin and a flute amidst dense floral motifs. The foot is decorated with a band of curl-works.
