A hand-washing basin, mizu-bachi, for garden use. The basin has a lid with a large round knob. There is a wide handle which sits over the top of the lid. The surface of the container is decorated with large raised patterns arranged in bands horizontally, reminiscent of lotus flowers and petals. Label: one label, handwritten.
