Octagonal dish made of wood and ivory. The dish has four ivory feet and ivory openwork panels form the sides. The design on the upper surface of base is formed of rectangular panels decorated with geometric designs in ivory and coloured pieces of bone and white metal strips. The underside is lined with velvet.
