box (containers)

Large wooden box covered in metal plating. The box has a hinged lid and a metal European style handle. There is a lock at the front of the box, however the key is not located with the object. The exterior of the box has copper coloured plating, which both surrounds the edges of the container and also divides up the surface of the sides into panels. Each panel has some kind of resin and treatment, which creates a shiny surface. A floral motif has been used. The interior of the box is also plated in metal, and has green paper affixed to the rim of the base and the lid.
