Circular lidded container of brass decorated with inlaid red and white metal. The main band around the centre of the body has oval cartouches, within which are depicted in low relief the figures of deities, alternately human and elephant in form, applied alternately in white metal and red metal respectively. One of the elephant form plaques is missing. Above and below is a band of applied red metal leaves; below is a band of quatrefoil flowers also in red metal. Below this is a band of lotus petals, all chased and engraved. On the underside is an engraved lotus flower. The stepped brass and copper lid is decorated with chasing and engraving in the form of a band of lotus petals in repousse technique and a round knop at the top with a lotus motif.
