Brass water jug intricately decorated in Moradabad style with allover scrollin vegetal decoration in lac work in black and beige. The body is round, with slightly flattened sides and is on a circular pedestal base. The neck is slender and fluted, decorated towards the top with a band of projected moulding. Pointed lid with a bud-shaped finial connected to the top of the handle by a hinge. The handle is S -shaped and is connected to the body at the shoulder. Old display label reads 'Aftaba or water jug.
