Stacking boxes, made of wood with a lacquered surface. There are two containers, circular in shape, one of which is bigger than the other. The smaller box fits on top of the larger one. There is a separate lid. There are grooves carved into the side of the containers, and also the top surface of the lid, creating bands of decoration. There is a large crack which runs down the side of both containers.

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
