A lid for a cylindrical box. The lid is round with a flat top. Similarly to the box, it is lacquered in black and red, in both circular and floral designs. Metal thread has been inlaid in small circles to create further decoration. A carved disk of ivory with a pin was attached to the centre of the lid, but has since become detached.
