There will be no through route in the Gardens on Saturday 19 April, and the Gardens are open on Saturday to Spring Fair ticket holders only. Museum visitors need to enter and exit via London Road.
Small costrel formed from a number of dark, wooden slats surrounded by two iron bands, one at either end. On one of the slats there is a protrusion, which has a round hole, into which a tapering cylindrical cork stopper fits. The two slats either side also have round holes. Incised on both ends of the costrel are the letters 'EC'.
