pipes (narcotics & intoxicants: smoking)

Body of brass water pipe of square-shaped with etched decoration on four sides. Two wide surfaces have etched roundels of cockerel surrounded by band of stylised floral motifs. The remaining surfaces have etched bamboo spray bordered by floral motifs. There are four holes to house different parts: Two large holes to store tobacco container and water container, two small holes to store two tubular mobile containers, which hold tweezers and cleaning brush. A cord with twin silk tassels is used to secured the water container to a protruding knob at the centre of the body.
