Pope Joan board that is made of wood and is octagonal and has eight divided sections each with a letter in to represent: King, Pope, Knave, Game, Queen, Matrimony, Ace and Intrigue. The letters are painted in gold with a black 'shadow', whilst the board is predominantly a khaki green with red sides and gold detailing. There is a gold ball or knob at the centre. There is one ball foot, with the three others missing.
